Optician is smart, helpful, and perceptive. She remembered everything I said in a previous visit a month before I bought my frames. Highly recommend this place if you're anxious about buying glasses.

Not too much bad I can say about Hakim. I got in on a deal here years ago for glasses I still wear today. It was a buy one get two free sale. But you had to pay for lenses and coatings. I think the whole deal cost me under 500 bucks which for 3 paires of glasses with lenses and coatings is not bad. I got 2 with reflective coatings and one with sunglass coating. If you goto a high end eyewear shop 500 bucks hardly goes as far as a pair of frames with lens and coating. Nothing wrong with Hakim frames. They lasted years for me and still are working fine.

I got my eyes examined here by a female Doctor - Dr. Tanja (I think that's the spelling) - most courteous, but more importantly she found a hole at the back of my eye. It was never detected before but luckily it was found early so there's hope for my vision. She dilated my eyes - which no doctor ever did! 
I also purchased a pair of glasses from the store. Mario is great - very friendly and easy to get along with. This is a big store so lots of frames to choose from. I've recommended my family here.
